DeCroce-Bramnick: Quinnipiac Poll Says Public Knows Democrats In Legislature Are Not Doing Job ....... NJ Assembly Republicans
New Jersey voters understand who is accountable for government’s overspending and who they believe is taking the proper approach in correcting the problem.
Assemblymen DeCroce and Bramnick were referring to the results of the Quinnipiac Poll showing the public disapproves of the way Democrats in the Legislature handled the state budget and the way both the Senate and Assembly are handling their jobs.
“Everyone knows government spends too much except the Democrats in the Legislature,” said DeCroce,. “When 63 percent of the public disapproves of the way Trenton Democrats handled the budget that sends an unmistakable message.
“The Quinnipiac results support the Republicans’ ongoing commitment to maintaining fiscal discipline,” said Bramnick,. “The performance review for Governor Christie is positive and is a credit to his leadership during the budget debate. The governor has maintained his steadfast commitment to keeping taxpayers as the number one priority which is what the public deserves.”
“In order to change the fiscal mismanagement that occurred when Democrats had total control of state government, we need responsible leaders who can make difficult decisions year after year,” continued DeCroce.
