Operation Fast & Furious....Iran-Contra Pales In Comparison

INVESTIGATION INTO OPERATION FAST AND FURIOUS JUST GETTING STARTED

US Attorney General Eric Holder

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa is holding Congressional hearings on the Obama Justice Department and ATF's Operation Fast and Furious. The operation where the government was willingly putting semi-automatic weapons into the hands of killers, resulting in the deaths of two federal agents and countless innocents in Mexico.

In the first hearing Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich couldn't answer one simple question: Who in Washington authorized Operation Fast and Furious? The Justice Department has so far refused to give Committee Chairman Issa any valuable information surrounding the case. Issa has said he believes Eric Holder knew about this operation and won’t stop until information requested is provided and justice is served.

Now it has come out that Stimulous Funds were used to pay for the weapons that were filtered to Mexican Drug Lords and Gangs. The only jobs created by this program are murder investigators. ATF Director Kenneth Melson is expected to be the Adminstrations sacrificial lamb and resign over the scandal.

The so called main street media were all over Iran-Contra under Reagan, at least that scandal resulted in freed American hostages, Operation Fast & Furious has so far resulted in dead border agents, and the mainstream media does not seem to be all that interested. Read More ~ And More

Bill Clinton Calls for Corporate Tax Cut

President Bill Clinton says the nation’s corporate tax rate is “uncompetitive” and called for a lower rate as part of a “mega-deal” to raise the debt ceiling.

“When I was president, we raised the corporate income-tax rates on corporations that made over $10 million [a year],” the former president told the Aspen Ideas Festival on Saturday evening.

“It made sense when I did it. It doesn’t make sense anymore, we’ve got an uncompetitive rate. We tax at 35 percent of income, although we only take about 23 percent. So we should cut the rate to 25 percent, or whatever’s competitive, and eliminate a lot of the deductions so that we still get a fair amount, and there’s not so much variance in what the corporations pay. But how can they do that by Aug. 2?” Read More

More Anti-Employer Job Killing Regulations From Obama's NLRB

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is at it again, floating a proposal that would speed union elections with an eye on denying employers an opportunity to discuss the pros and cons of unionizing to their employees. The proposed rules would also require require employers to hand over information on its employees, like email addresses and phone numbers to prospective unions.
.
Thursday, former union steward Larry Getts testified on Capitol Hill, telling members of the House Education and Workforce Committee that union officials never needed help tracking down non-union workers. "We found the UAW officials waiting in our break room," Getts said. "They would even follow us to our vehicles before and after work, some to our homes." Read More
